A Sea in a City

Interior renovation, furnishing and decorating project for a residential unit at a condo tower in Manhattan. While the unit is located at a higher floor with panoramic corner windows accepting tremendous sky view and delightful sunlight, the design intended to create more pleasant and reinvigorated space for the family members. Planned in a soft blue and a matching cream tone, the furniture, seating objects, in light royal blue became the dominant one in the space along with beige sofa and cream-color finished wall backgrounds and eventually create brighter and lighter atmosphere together with a shinny view to the sky. A feature wall, equipped with home entertaining devices, fabricated with gray-brown Pietra d'Avola limestone with grooved patterns makes a dynamic focal point through the space while harmonizing with dark wood flooring and altogether, the space became more enjoyable and entertaining place while being a part of the sky.
